• Game rooms — any facility containing six or more amusement redemption machines

What Type of Camera Is Required?

The City of Houston doesn't just require any camera — it requires digital high-resolution surveillance cameras with wide dynamic range (WDR) capabilities. Specifically, each camera must meet the following minimum specifications:

• Resolution: 2 megapixels

• Aspect ratio: 1920 x 1080

• Frame rate: 30 frames per second

• Video export format: Non-proprietary MPEG-4
